   These are samples of photos, used in promoting Bendix Avionics products.  As an initial service provider to Walt Disney's Orlando, Florida theme Park, Bendix employees frequented the attraction before and after opening in 1970.
   Gene was responsibile for PR for 12 Bendix divisions including Avionics, Field Engineering, Launch Support, Home Systems (3 sub divsions), Automotive Radio, Communciations, Instruments, Commercial refrigeration, Brake & Aerospace, as editor of quarterly Bendix Today. 
   Three of his facilities were heavily tasked by NASA to provide instruments like ALSEP and Rover while others provided Launch Support and diagnostics as in Apollo 13.
   Gene had opportunity to land the command module at sea and drive a second lunar rover at Cape Kennedy on their simulator test bed and flight  deck.   Giving VIP tours through Kennedy Space Center was part of his job as well as writing many press materials putting space into layman's terms.
   After leaving Bendix he was called back to restore investor confidence during a messy take over attempt resulting in a merger with Allied Signal.
